Privacy Policy

Introduction

Wibutime ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Wibutime mobile application and any associated web pages we operate (collectively, the "Service"), how we use and protect that information, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

Definitions

Account: your Wibutime user profile, created when you sign in with your Google account.
Device: any phone, tablet, or other device used to access the Service.
Personal Data: any information that identifies or could reasonably be used to identify you.
Service Providers: third-party companies we use to operate the Service, such as our hosting, authentication, and advertising partners.
We / Us / Our / Wibutime: refers to Wibutime, based in Indonesia.
You: the person using the Service.

Information We Collect

When you sign in with your Google account, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. While you use the Service, we also collect:

- Content you create, such as comments, chat messages, and your chosen profile customization.
- Moderation records: reports you send about content and, if your account is suspended, the reason, length, and date of the suspension.
- Your watch history and favorites list, stored so the app can show your progress and recommendations.
- A device push-notification token, used to send you notifications about new episodes or replies.
- Basic technical information generated automatically by your device and our service providers, such as IP address and app version, for security and troubleshooting purposes.

We do not ask for or store payment information, and the Service does not currently sell any goods, services, or digital content.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

- Operate your account and let you use the app's features.
- Show your name, photo, badges, and favorites list to other users in comments and public profile pages.
- Keep your watch history private to your account.
- Send you push notifications you have opted into.
- Maintain the security of the Service and prevent abuse, including reviewing reports and suspending accounts that break our Terms.
- Improve the app based on how it is used.

Advertising

The Service displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may use your Advertising ID and similar identifiers to show ads that are more relevant to you, a practice known as interest-based advertising. This may involve AdMob collecting information about your activity across apps and services over time. You can review and adjust your ad personalization settings, and reset or opt out of your Advertising ID, from your device's Google Settings > Ads. The Service does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, since Do Not Track is a web browser feature and the Service is a native mobile app; the Advertising ID controls described above are the equivalent choice available to you on Android.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

- With service providers who help us run the Service: Google Firebase (sign-in and push notifications), Supabase (database and storage), Cloudflare (hosting), and Google AdMob (advertising). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only to provide its service to us.
- With other users, limited to what you choose to show publicly: your display name, profile photo, badges, and the content of comments or chat messages you post.
- If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Wibutime, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy continuing to apply to your information.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep certain records to comply with the law. We may also keep a limited moderation record, such as an account suspension that is still in effect, for as long as needed to enforce our rules and prevent abuse.

Your Rights and Choices

You can:

- Delete your watch history at any time from Settings > Content & Privacy.
- Start an account deletion request from the app (Settings > Content & Privacy > Delete Account) or see our account deletion page.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing admin@wibutime.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to equal service regardless of whether you exercise these rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is no sale for you to opt out of.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to create a Wibutime account, consistent with the age requirement of the Google account used to sign in. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at admin@wibutime.com and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including relying on Google Firebase and Supabase's security infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfer

Our service providers may process and store information outside Indonesia. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

Links to Other Websites

The Service may contain links to third-party anime and donghua streaming sources that are not operated by Wibutime. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third-party sites.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
